Chalestra develops contact messaging for emails and letters

We’ve developed the way in which Business Administrator builds and broadcasts messages to make them simpler, faster and more comprehensive.

Mass messaging, whether through email, letter or the BAN network, is driven through project management: marketing, in Business Administrator, is developed through projects.

Project phases can now have only one type of output: previously, you could use multiple output formats, but this caused a substantial amount of confusion. Also, phases can only carry one message, for the same reason.

In addition, when projects give an overview, they provided an overview of the whole project. Now, it’s much more focused on relevance: you only get to see hard core information that’s relevant to the task at hand, rather than be offered what can be a bewildering amount of information that was sometimes not relevant.

Contact messaging now offers an opportunity to send a test message to yourself when sending email messages. If offers the chance to see exactly what you audience will see, and make any corrections or enhancements before the message is officially released.

Formatting has been improved too. Largely speaking, Business Administrator will expect you to format a message offline, and import it when it’s ready to go. Such messages can be formatted using traditional word editors such as Word, or formatted in html. Output from traditional word editors will have to be saved as rtf files, and output from html files must be exposed to the Internet if they contain any graphic content or links.

The form also offers the use of field codes. This is the first time we’ve exposed field codes to users, and it allows them to choose where field codes go simply by placing the cursor at the appropriate place, and clicking the relevant onscreen field code.

Project Manager, in the global sense, has also been highly tuned. It’s faster, simpler to use, and offers more comprehensive, highly focused information. And, for marketing, it covers a wider range of messaging techniques.

Further, the process of releasing messages is much faster. Business Administrator can release messages at the rate of some 3,000 per hour, all of which are properly registered in CRM, enabling comprehensive routes to contact follow up and development

When the time comes to release emails on an email marketing campaign, you’ll find the process incredibly fast. Where it can, Business Administrator will put the whole process on to its subsystems. This allows users to get on with other work.

When Business Administrator releases emails, it has to address every single email individually, and has to make entries to the CRM system: it used to do this as it went along. Now, it prepares and sends all the emails on the subsystem, and saves those entries into a new subsystem dedicated to saving thousands of items. That new system offers no restrictions to users working on Business Administrator, or to the releasing subsystem. That’s partly how we’ve produced such a comprehensive business product that’s incredibly fast and easy to use.
